What
could be easier, pop a pair of panties on in the morning
take them off 24 hours later and send them off to
someone unwashed to earn extra money. In theory it
couldn't be easier but in practice so many fail within
the first 12 months its astonishing. How do I know
so many fail? Because I am forever deleting sellers
who were once listed but never took any of my advice.
It
is true that many might fail because they are cheats
or do not look after their customers. I am not going
to give loads of advice on sales techniques or how
to treat your customers, that side will be down to
you. Panty buyers will have 2-3 favored sellers and
they will come back if you treat them right.
What
I will say though before we start is that one of the
roads to ruin is trying to be the cheapest. Never
try to be the cheapest, try to be the best
in both quality and customer service. Those that give
too many freebies away do so in a very vein attempt
to stand toe to toe with sites that offer better quality.
Aim for loyal customers and repeat customers and I
will not be deleting another dead site in a few months
time.
I
know that the most successful panty sellers are those
that have repeat customers. Do not believe that you
can cheat and scam your way in the panty selling world
month after month, customers will soon dry up and
other panty sellers will be on your case in no time.
I
am going to try and give some basic advice to those
that wish to have a go at selling used panties based
on the fact that they are genuine sellers, if you
want a quick way to make a few dollars without spending
a penny then stop reading now as this advice is of
no use to you...
The
first most important rule is; Do not build enemies.
You will need other sellers to exchange links with.
Other busy sellers will often recommend you if they
have too many orders and they will also be just as
quick to tell the world if you are using stolen images
and material. Don't Cheat. There are enough
customers to go around for everyone play fair and
you will prosper.
Get
yourself a domain name and some hosting. What looks
better and installs trust from a passer by (surfer
through your site). A dedicated domain name which
becomes your home on the web, a place a buyer can
come back to and find you time and time again or free
hosting where you can move on and start again under
a different name. Free hosting smells of scam, it
smells of cheap and nasty ask yourself "Am I
selling panties as a small side business to earn money?"
If the answer is yes look professional and
be professional
Domain
names are under $9.00 per year, I use www.namecheap.com
to register my domain names. If you are stuck on a
new name why not just use your first name followed
by usedpanties.com or wornpanties.com, even dirtypanties.com.
Hosting
- I have a link in the Recommended section to Adult
Hosting. Click it, select 'Virtual Hosting' and
select the Plan V1. It costs $2.59 a month, it has
more than enough storage and I will explain later
how you can easily get your costs back without even
selling a pair of panties.
Now
that you have your domain name and hosting you need
a site. It is no use having your nice new www.somethingusedpanties.com
if you have no website for visitors to read. I am
not going to go into depth at what a site should look
like as that is personal taste. Have an idea yourself
how many pages your site should have and use a piece
of paper to plan the structure. Will you require a
Gallery, Biography, Diary or Reviews page? Then when
you have an idea of the structure you have two options
for a new site (unless you can build one yourself).
Option
One - Have a look at the other sellers websites,
contact them and see who made their site and ask how
much (remember the don't build enemies). I know girls
that have had sites built for under $100 and most
will point you in the right direction.
Option
Two - Make it in a blog style, this is totally
free. Search Google if you need more advice on what
a blog is.
Accepting
Payments - You need to accept money for your dirty
panties, direct bank transfer, cheques or cash mailed
to your address or a PO Box number all work fine.
Do Not under any circumstances use Paypal.
Consider accepting Amazon gift certificates, the buyer
only needs an email address to send to in using this
method (for those that feel uneasy about giving out
address details). If you search ebay for Amazon vouchers
you will see that ones with a face value of £20.00
or $40.00 fetch to within £1 of the price at
close of auction.
I
said I would tell you how to get your costs back
and this is so simple yet I have so far seen only
2-3 sites taking advantage of this. Have some advertising,
it is not rocket science. You will have probably 2-3
possible serious buyers per 100 visits to your site,
the other 97 have no intent on making a purchase,
they are freebie hunting. These 'possible' buyers
might not even make a purchase, they are window shopping
and comparing, a sale is not guaranteed.
Use
some webcam sponsors, male sex toys
or panty picture galleries. A serious buyer
will look for your purchase page, biography or about
me page and then move on to your personal gallery.
Have two galleries if it makes you feel better, your
own personal one and 'More Panty Pictures'. If you
have been selling panties for a while do some simple
math's, check how many visits you have had in the
past 48 hours and how many 'new' sales you have made
in this time. That is a lot of traffic you are letting
out of the back door, if you had a bricks and mortar
business would you be pleased with 100 people through
your door and just 1 maybe 2 people look at the goods
on offer?
Under
Getting Started I have a Resources page, take
a look at it, if you are new or if you have been selling
a few months or years it doesn't matter, start treating
your panty sales as a business and get every drop
of income you can from it. Just one click a day on
a webcam sponsor can lead to a $45 sign-up, your hosting
paid for a year.
Atrtracting
Customers: To start with it is all about statistics,
more visits = more sales ratio and if you make a sale
your number one priority is a happy customer who might
return. Again I cannot stress enough it is better
to have one quality customer than 4 poor ones who
want you to virtually give them away. I hate seeing
'special offers' and 'free picture' adverts, it spells
DESPERATE.
A
listing on this site will get you a good few visits,
I am not promising sales as that is down to you. Again
use the resources page, use the Netpond link (adult
webmasters forum) and read and read more about how
to attract visits to your site.
This
should give you some food for thought, it is a lot
